2. Example: Differences Between Tour Types
To illustrate how refund terms may vary:
Public Circle Island Tour:
This group tour operates on a fixed schedule. Cancellations made within a certain timeframe before departure may be eligible for a partial refund, while late cancellations or no-shows may not be refundable.
Private Circle Island Tour:
Private and custom tours require advance scheduling and resource allocation. Because of this, cancellations typically have stricter refund timelines or non-refundable deposits.

3. Shuttle Services
For regular shuttle and airport transfer services, refunds depend on the pickup time and notice given before cancellation.
Cancellations made within the allowed timeframe (as stated during booking) may be refunded or credited.
Missed pickups or same-day cancellations are usually non-refundable, unless caused by flight delays or verified emergencies.
4. Cancellations by Hawaii Island Time LLC
In rare cases, Hawaii Island Time LLC may need to cancel or reschedule a service due to:
Severe weather or unsafe travel conditions
Vehicle or equipment issues
Minimum passenger requirements not being met
Unforeseen circumstances beyond our control
If we must cancel your service, you will be given the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
5. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund or reschedule a booking:

Refund requests are processed within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment method and banking institution.
6. No-Shows and Late Arrivals
Guests who fail to show up at the scheduled departure time are considered no-shows.
No-shows and late arrivals are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling, unless prearranged with our office.
7. Force Majeure
We are not liable for refunds or compensation due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, acts of government, public emergencies, or other force majeure events.
8. Non-Transferable and Non-Resalable Bookings
Refunds will only be issued to the original purchaser.
Services purchased through unauthorized resellers or unapproved third parties are not eligible for refunds and may be canceled without notice.
